Family Cookbooks

The majority of the recipes that we’ll show you come from different families’ traditions, from ours to those of some friends of us, both near and far;

the family’s recipes books is by far the book to which we are attached the most. We have two of these, preserved with jealousy and attention, as they are the foundations of this project: the first one is from Nisèn (Ines, Flavio’s grandmother) and the second one is from Rosi (Rosalia, my mum). Going through their pages and re-discover those rare handwritings represent every time a deep dive into the past but, at the same time, it gives us a sense of security towards the present. 

So with that being said…it is with great pleasure that we introduce the first recipe from Rosi’s recipes book: Gran Duchessa Steaks!
